Roland PIERRE-CHARLES (1948-2019) est un personnage de la musique martiniquaise. Accordéoniste et pianiste, il a entre autres fait partie de La Perfecta et fondé Opération 78.

Son neveu a eu l'idée de proposer à EDS de lui rendre hommage, dans la tradition des Ateliers Laché Chivé : en s'appropriant une oeuvre du "Chaben Fondamantal".

Le choix s'est porté sur le morceau "Post Colon" de RPC, dédié à ce quartier des hauteurs de Fort-de-France. Avec cette simple anecdote amoureuse retranscrite par Sinké dans son refrain : l'histoire de la rencontre des parents dudit neveu, qui quelques trente ans après, résident toujours à Post-Colon TIvoli :

"Loto'w té an pàn an bò chimen
Mwen désann atè mi ou volé tjè-mwen
Ou ripran lawout, mwen pran lanmè
Sé van lanmou'w ka souflé dan vwel-mwen"

[Ta voiture était en panne au bord du chemin
Je me suis arrêté et tu as volé mon coeur
Tu as repris la route, moi je partais en mer
C'est le vent de l'amour qui me portait]

Alphaaz au beatmaking s'est chargé de détourner le thème musical.
Dan Amozig accompagne l'accordéon de RPC à la trompette.
